We at xDock (“xDock”, “we”, “our” or “us”) take the protection of your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, from whom we collect it when we collect it, how it is used and shared, as well as the way Users make choices, and how this information is managed.

How this Policy applies

This Policy describes how xDock and its affiliates collect and use the personal information of its Users. This policy applies to all users of our apps, websites, or other services anywhere in the world unless covered by a separate privacy policy and to the extent inconsistent with such other policy.

This policy applies to the following persons and entities:

(a) users of xDock who request or receive docking and overexposure services; (b) users of xDock who provide premises and/or place for the provision of cross-docking and warehousing services (c) persons and entities who provide information to xDock in connection with an application to use our Services, or whose information xDock otherwise receives in connection with its Services. All those subjects to this policy are referred to as “Users” for purposes of this policy.

xDock may collect, store, use, and disclose personal and non-personal information. We collect, store, use, and disclose the following types of personal data:

  1. User data relating to individuals who are registered to the Services and use them either independently or on behalf of our corporate customers to publish personal information about docks.
  2. Driver data relating to drivers who use the Services, either individually or as part of a fleet that has integrated into the Services.
  3. Website visitor, CRM & prospects data relating to visitors of our website, business customers, partners, and any prospective customer, partner, user, or driver who visits or otherwise interacts with any of our Websites (“Sites”)., online ads, and content, emails or other communications under our control.

Personal identification information

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, publish the content, upload the photo, subscribe to the newsletter, respond to the chat, fill out a filter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site or through the Mobile Application. Users may be asked for their name, email address, mailing address, and phone number. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site-related activities.

Non-personal identification information

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer, and technical information about Users' means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system, browser, the Internet service providers utilized, and other similar information.

Web browser cookies

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance the user experience. User’s web browsers place cookies on their hard drives for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies or to alert them when cookies are being sent. In such cases, some parts of the Site may not function properly.

  1. Information provided by Users. This may include:

    • User profile: We collect information when Users create or update their xDock accounts. This may include name, phone number, email, address, payment or banking information (including related payment verification information), login name and password, photos, and geolocations. This also includes the preferences and settings that Users enable for their xDock accounts.
    • Driver information: We may collect the vehicle or insurance information of drivers. This may include information such as driver history or criminal record (where permitted by law).
    • User Content: We may collect information that Users submit when providing ratings for or feedback in connection with other Users, contact xDock Customer Support, or otherwise contact xDock.
    • Demographic data: We may collect demographic information about Users, including the ones processed through user surveys. In some countries, we may also receive demographic information about users from third parties.
  2. Information created during the use of Our Services. This may include:

    • Location Information. Depending on the xDock Services that Users use, and the app settings or device permissions, we may collect precise or approximate location information as determined through data such as GPS, IP address, and WiFi. xDock may collect location information when the xDock app is running in the foreground. We do not collect this information when the xDock app is running in the background of the device unless this collection is enabled through the app settings or device permissions.
    • Transaction Information. We collect transaction details related to the use of our services, including the type of services Users requested or provided, the order details, the date and time the service was provided, the amount charged, and the payment method.
    • Promotions and promo codes. If someone uses a promotion code we provide or may provide to Users in the future, we may associate the name specified with that person or with a contact that was associated with this promo code (for ex. invite codes).
    • Usage information. We collect information about how Users interact with our Services. This includes information such as access dates and times, app features or pages viewed, app crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or services used before interacting with our Services. In some cases, we collect this information through cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers.     • Communications data. We enable Users to communicate with each other and xDock through the xDock apps, websites, chat, and other services. For example, drivers and dock owners may text each other. To provide this service, xDock receives some information regarding the texts, (including the date, time, and content of the message). xDock may also use this information for customer support services (including resolving disputes between users, payment disputes, or chargebacks), for safety and security purposes, to improve our products and services, and for analytics.
    • Device Information. We may collect information about the devices you use to access our services, including the hardware models, device IP address, operating systems, and their versions, software, and their versions preferred languages, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, and mobile network information.
  3. Information from other sources. These may include:

    • User feedback and ratings.
    • Users provide other users’ information in connection with referral programs or promotions.
    • Users or Site visitors providing information in connection with claims or disputes.
    • Financial services providers (for drivers).
    • Publicly available sources.
    • Marketing service providers.

How we use the collected information

xDock may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service:

All information provided by Users helps us respond to customer service requests and support needs better and more efficiently.

  • To personalize user experience:

We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.

  • To improve our Site:

We may use feedback provided by Users to improve our products and services.

  • To process payments:

We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing a booking only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

  • To run a promotion, contest, survey, or other Site feature:

To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them (like new docks information, etc).

  • To send periodic emails:

We may use the email address to send the user information and updates about their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If a user decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

How we protect your information

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage, and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information, and data stored on our Site. Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over an SSL-secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and Users with our business partners, trusted affiliates, and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third-party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that links to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors, and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites that have a link to our Site, is subject to that website's terms and policies.

xDock has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage our users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed as your acceptance of those changes.
